Victim Souls
Sometimes, only bad guys can beat the Devil…
The plan is simple: get the money and deliver the car. What could possibly go wrong?
What can’t?
Things start to go south when Sam Drake realizes that his brother Johnny is hiding something, a secret about Sam’s troubled childhood that goes beyond his most feverish nightmares…
Then Johnny’s girlfriend, Ash, starts sending Sam the kind of mixed signals that can only lead to big trouble…
As the trio of small time crooks falls deeper into an abyss of betrayal and violence, they will discover that the greatest danger they face is not of this world.
With everything he believes about himself and the world around him shattered, Sam will become the unlikely champion in a battle with true evil, a fight to save a soul that has already been forfeited to darkness.
His own.
Crime noir collides with supernatural horror. In the best tradition of Dusk ’til Dawn and The Devil’s Rejects, Andrew Terech’s debut novel Victim Souls will have you rooting for the bad guys and ducking for cover!
Sean Ellis, Author of Magic Mirror

Andrew Terech's debut novel, Victim Souls, is a satisfyingly complex, yet absolutely readable, tale.
Starting out as a mysterious (for the protagonist and us) road trip, we meet two criminally inclined brothers and an attractive young woman on a murderous spree of robbery and violence.
Trouble in store? You bet, and the author keeps piling on the mystery and suspense, liberally sprinkled with shocking scenes of great brutality. Lots of drinking, cigarettes, and dark humor garnish this tasty dish of supernatural horror.
The book really kicks into overdrive when the protagonist, Sam, finds himself in a shadow world, where the rules are different; very different.
Victim Souls reaches a terrifying and ultimately poignant climax, then gently calms down the reader with an epilogue hinting that a sequel may be in store.
This book is atmospheric, tense, and genuinely frightening.
I, for one, will be eagerly awaiting further tales from the pen of Mr. Terech.
